The experience of living abroad, especially in a developed country a privilege. Therefore, I will not take this as a granted. I will try to write a series of report on transportation facilities and infrastructure in Australia, particularly where I live, the state of New South Wales. This compilation may not be so much since there are not so many opportunities to visit the related department or bureaus. Some were made possible by attending an event organized by USYD infrastructure club. Actually there are several topics of which I want to cover in the near future, such as:

  • Railways
  • Ground transportation
  • Transportation information system
  • Trends of transportation in Australia
  • Urban transportation

and so on and so forth. However, I have a limitation on time and chances. So in the mean time I will write whatever information I’ve got. In the next post, I will write my experience of visiting the Rails Operation Centre (ROC).
